CONTEST SUBJECT: KIDS!!
Everyone who replied to the contest showed most interested in drawing Penguin Revolution characters as kids! So that's what it'll be! I think that's a really good choice by everyone because it should be really fun but also not too complicated, perfect for our little club!
What would be a reasonable deadline? Before September... or is that too soon? Tell me what would be reasonable!
Judging, not voting, will decide the winners. Will be done by me and others who cannot enter, but of course I hope everyone will participate in the contest (then I'll find other people to help judge). Will probably be judged based on originality, portrayal of the feeling of childhood (XD), and quality of work.
Prizes (drawn by me, 2 character max):
1st place: colored
2nd place: lineart
3rd place: sketch
Does anyone else want to donate prizes?
Any suggestions? Questions??
The contest is ON!
___________________________________________________________________
So I think if we are to have a contest, we better have it now!
An idea I was thinking of is to draw the characters as part of another world... for example, Alice in Wonderland (so overused T.T), ancient Japan (XD), etc.
OR
Has everyone read the ending? or not? How about creating your own ending for the series??
OR
Drawing them as little kids? (suggested by nati-chan2)
LET ME KNOW WHICH ONE YOU WANT TO DRAW (ACTUALLY WRITING SHOULD BE OK TOO)!!
Since we don't have many members at all, I hope everyone will be able to participate!
UPDATE
I apologize for the lack of activity. I'm not quite sure what to do since we have so few members. But on that note, we have 10 members, that's including me. How does it sound if we have a mini-contest once we reach 10 excluding me? Anyone want to help with a little recruiting XD? I know contests are much more appealing with monetary prizes, but I think you realize that's kind of impossible for such a small contest. So does handmade prizes sound ok?
Anyway, let me know what you think. PLEASE!

+ ABOUT +
I think it would be safe to say Penguin Revolution/ Sakura Tsukuba's mangas overall are not exactly widely recognized, as somewhat reflected by the few pages of fanart on deviantART. Therefore, I thought it might be nice to bring the fans together, get to know each other, be able to talk about it with people who like it also, and share artworks on the subject!
Hopefully, we will be able to hold events too if (no, I'm hoping 'when') we get enough members!
HAVEN'T READ SAKURA TSUKUBA'S MANGAS?

I will probably write my own summaries later, or if anyone would like to write one!!
+ JOINING +
Haha, if you hold love for any of Sakura Tsukuba's</b> works in your heart, PLEASE come join!!
Just send a NOTE (please not in comments as I migt miss them) saying you want to join and you're part of the club!
Please watch the club for news and artworks.
Also, please put our icon on your journal (to spread the presence XD)
+ SUBMITTING +
I'm not sure if you'd like to submit your artworks to the club gallery. If you do, it will be done!
Or I could add related artworks to the favorites collections and you could browse for works there. The problem is that members will not be notified of it.
As you can see, this club is just starting and I don't know where it might be going XD. Hopefully that will become clear soon when we get some members!
Founder?
I have some Penguin Revolution fanart in my gallery, please come take a look if you like!
